Funny: regular price $999 Sale price $349
This 40 size of theirs looks like the Aeroworks scheme http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c..._1931_28764589

You still have to put the equipment into it, and thats another $1000. And then when the hot melt glue falls apart on a snap roll, and the wing splits in half and the plane comes crashing down.... Hmmm. Lets see, you saved $100 - $150 by buying a "Cheap" $349 plane over a $500 one... but you just lost $800 in equipment due to a cheap plane's mid flight failure... Sooo ummm Harv.....Is it really that cheap?

You're 14! If you don't have the money for a giant scale plane you shouldn't be suprized...I'll let you in on a little secret right now: having a big plane only makes you look like a better pilot, it doesn't actually make you a better pilot. In fact, all of the cool stuff I have learned to do I did on parkflyers and 60-90 size stuff.

Hold up Wait a minute !!
Has anyone seen this plane fly ? Has anyone tested this aircraft yet ? Has anyone any proof that the plane splits apart in mid air ? Does cheap means poor quality ? Is this plane an exact copy of another brand ? Are there other brand out there with the similiar size and weight that falls apart or they have proven themselves and flies ok ? Are light planes stronger ? |

They are put together with "hot melt glue" Thats fine for a .40 - .60 plane, but I wouldn't trust it to a 50cc plane. Also, a good friend has confirmed to me that YES the 50cc plane uses Hot melt glue. So... not saying its a BAD plane, but with that glue being used.. i won't be trusting my equipment to it. It may be a fine plane for sport aerobatics, but I wouldn't throw it into a blender!

I understand
I guess its up to the buyers discretion in what he wants to do with the aircraft. As for me my style of flying leans to more pattern stuff and i know some 3D. Some chinese man say you cant go wrong with foamy !! |

I wouldn't buy anything from this company, really. They simply take any planes that China offers and try to sell them to make a buck. As where QQ aircraft, Aeroworks, Fliton and the like, do a ton of their own design, research, and testing before sending them to china to be built. Then they do it all again to make sure the final assembly is to their satisfaction. If they later find that it isn't, they fix it. If Nitromodels finds out that a plane they sell is falling apart in customers hands, they will simply stop ordering more of them and try China's next offering.

Hey Guys, I bought one of these off of ebay. Not from Nitro Models though from another source. The plane is made by CMP. I pulled it out of the box and it is a very nice piece of work. All laser cut parts. And NO hot glue. Everything is jig locked and hardware, while not top of the line looked to be very good. Covering was quite good as well. I think for the money it is quality plane. These Chinamen are building better and better planes at cheaper prices everyday. I would rate this very close to the AM in quality. The only difference? No AM markup.
