i have owned 4 different simms and personaly i dont see how you guys can stand them. i would get bored after 5 minutes. its not the same as flying the real deal. so i know what your feeling. i know i will get flamed for saying that, but its the truth. its ok when i got to the hobby store to use thiers for a few minutes then i,am over it.

I get bored of my sim... sadly. After some frustration of roling circles (not even close), I give up after 2 hours...

Dirty Laundry Pro
![]() |
For those of us with less than 100 miles of road, a short flying season (and then only at low tide!), and virtually zero rain/wind-free days each year, the sims have become a fun part of the hobby for me. When things are slow at work, I've always got a .tga file open, re-covering a model.
If all I ever wanted to do was fly high alpha, then yes, I can see how most of the sims would get boring quickly. I still manage to put in 1 or 2 hours each day teaching my kids to fly, practicing an IMAC pattern, getting some stick time in before I maiden a new plane, etc... The stick plane pictures I posted a while back can be boring too, but they're all just a tool to be used when needed. That's MY .25 worth, and I'm stickin' to it! -Case
