Dude no offence to you or to any company but nearly all the yaks and extras in the 50 to 100cc range over here are mostly made in china and they are aewsome!!! I know that coz i've researched like over 8 months on finding a chinese company with good quality and cheap planes.

Btw clones are nice coz there cheap with the same costruction as the originals.

Its the same as buying an album $20 from Virgins and not downloading all the songs from limewire.

Just so you know, the ONLY thing that even MINUTELY resembles Aeroworks on this plane is the scheme, and even that doesn't compare to Aeroworks. Guaranteed 100% this plane is NOT a clone of the Aeroworks with the same construction at a lower price. It is a POS compared to it. It is going to be Chinakote, not Ultracote, You will have to hinge it and install your canopy, cowling, landing gear, wheelpants yourself, any hardware that might be included will be junk, and the Aluminum tubes and gear will likely be weaker. You get what you pay for, and I already feel sorry for the poor schmuck that has bid up to $650 on that TURD!

Oh, and it was most definitely assembled almost, if not totally, 100% with hot-melt glue, whereas Aeroworks ARF's use epoxy and CA extensively.

Now who's the smarty pants? fg43 lol
Your right it is a POS for the price [sorry i did not see the price ] but I got a yak from china for $175 and the quality is nearly the same as any plane out there[like aeroworks, aviatio models,aerotech....etc].
well... your sayin that the landing gear and the wing tube would not be strong enough do you have any proof?????Im askin you that coz even I thought that the plane that i bought would be a POS.....but it was incredible for the price !!!! And no hot glue!!!! I heard about the hot glue thing over here some where and it i can remember that someone was sayin that that was in Nitro Models!!

BTW whats the difference between between china cote and ultracote as long it is already covered!! And what planes come with already installed hinges????? Every one of em needs to be installed by the owner!!!

Any ways did you read the first 9 words of post NO.4 ???? No offence dude... peace.

Actually dude, The Aeroworks QB series comes pre-hinged. wheel pants mounted, cowl ready to mount and canopy already attached. The whole plane is really 95% ready to fly.

These cheap planes do not completely suck.. but the Quality Control is very low.
With a 35% plane the amount of money your risking with the equipment your putting into the plane is just not worth it.

You can prove all of us wrong by buying one, and then posting all your findings.

1) Check all the wing incidences.. all at 0 deg?

2) is the covering really nice and wrinkle free? can you re-shrink it?

3) Is all the hardware usable? Or is ANY?

4) Is the glue Epoxie or Hot melt glue.

5) what wall thinkness is the wing tube and stab tube? Will they hold up?

6) Overall fit and finish, are all the tolerances tight?

7) Whats the AUW...

Let us know... if you find its a sweet ass plane, perhaps I'll change my mind and get one.. but if any of the above questions can't be answered with positive answers, I'll stick with name brands.

That guy has been around on ebay selling these yaks a while now. These planes are made from stolen cad drawing from aviation models and put into his laser cutter. That is where the similarities end on the AM/SD planes. The wood selection is poor and the glue is not typical of todays top quality arfs. They have duplicated many of the top arf schemes including QQ, Aeroworks, and SD models. They even did a green and red QQ scheme YUK!!!!. Bottom line is we all know you get what you pay for. Suport the people that suport the hobby through a quality product and good service. QQ Aircraft co, SD models, Aeroworks etc...

I agree but im just sayin that some planes don't have to be expensive or famous to be good. There might be a company out there which we don't even know about and there good. For example the company which i ought my yak from.
