Yea what Dennis said.. I had to goto the Forward air station to get it.
Take a VAN or TRUCK the Box/crate is HUGE. In my Chevy Venture (the big one, not the short one) it was from the back of the passenger seat all the way to the back door. And the seat was almost all the way forward.

So far this company uses a Aviation Model/ SD Manual for their planes. And also uses China cote. Seems like they are real sharp shooters. What happens when you need some parts?

To be honest I have never needed parts for an ARF EVER. If my plane needs parts, the part it needs is usually a whole NEW PLANE. haha. Parts.... But actually the dude from Harris and Anderson does have extra parts if you get a bad cowl or something... But seriously... Dude.. its a sweet beater plane. Its never going to replace the top quality ARF's on the market... but if you want to learn some HIGH ALPHA stuff and don't want to risk your new BAD ASS SUPER PIMP TOP NOTCH ARF... this is the way to do it!

Sleepy, your assessment of the plane is spot on. Mine will take a bit to get together and flying, but I look forward to it.

Hello this is John from Harris and Anderson RC, hopefully the build of the 35% yak is going well. Just writing to clear up a few issues, we have never stated that the covering on the 35% is ultra-coat but Oracote which is very simular to Ultra-coat. Please feel free to contact us for any questions you may have on these units looking forward to serving you thanks.

After reading the WHOLE thread . . . .
Amazing how the first detractors and hate speechers have shut up now that Sleepy has provided some hands-on review of the plane in question. Perhaps we should all learn something from this. . . . . . . . . . Glad to see the importer stepping forward and coming into the thread. Shows he stands behind his product. I don't care WHERE the damned things come from. . China is China. . and they are all working their little butts off to get products into our hands and make money doing it. They understand that junk means no sales, so they do try to do a good job I think. Oracote is the CHEAP Oracover.. . I have some here. . anyone want it? Pay the shipping it's yours. Can't wait to hear your report Sleepy. Amazing what a "POS, Junkie, ripoff, Chinese" model can do for your lack of flying.

All planes are beater planes in Sleepy's hands though!
Seriously.......lets get some flight reports. These may be the perfect entry level giants or help bring down the price of other ARF's.

I've been seeing more and more of these models available lately, and i'm really glad that
Sleepy has had a chance to clear things up for us. Here i am, broke as hell but still trying fund my first 30%er....These are looking very tempting to me!! Highres4, I had no idea you guys were in St. Louis! Do you have a store or somewhere i could take a look at a 30% version of the yak in person? |

Perhaps I should start a new thread.. and post a slew of pictures.
Unfortunatly, here in Ohio.. there will be NO FLIGHT REPORT for some time... 20 deg, 6" of snow and growing.... I'm all about flying... but... MAN.... thats a bit much. Let me know the interest factor and if its High, we will do a step by step break down of the plane. Pictures of everything. Give me a yea or neigh. I'm still very happy with the plane. SO far so good!
