yeah, we got like 4" yesterday, so I had no school today, too bad, but I'd rather have warm weather and school than bad weather and no school!

Glad to see the importer stepping forward and coming into the thread. Shows he stands behind his product.

I don't care WHERE the damned things come from. . China is China. . and they are all working their little butts off to get products into our hands and make money doing it. They understand that junk means no sales, so they do try to do a good job I think....

Can't wait to hear your report Sleepy. Amazing what a "POS, Junkie, ripoff, Chinese" model can do for your lack of flying.
What a sensible post.

I too was/remain uhm..."impatient"...with the usual cadre of kneejerk (heavy on the JERK) naysayers...just read through the early posts. The same guys who'll pi$$ and moan about another Chinese ARF are thrilled with their garage full of Chinese planes and accessories.

I am no fan of purchasing goods from... or "trading" with a country which allows outright piracy of intellectual property and trademarked/patented goods...in fact I make an effort to not buy common goods made in China (shoes and the like) but, unfortunately, in our hobby much of what we need ends up being goods easier made in China than elsewhere...especially stateside.

For the hard-core ChinaBashers..., the reality is what it is. It may suck, but that's how things are for now. Maybe your next plane could be a Colombo Anderson (from Argentina...I love mine) or a Comp Arf (my next plane...made in Thailand.)

I was hoping this thread would dispell the myths and calm the nerves of those who trashed this plane based (seemingly) on the fact that it was from China. I expected to see the review here...good, bad, or in-between. So Sleepy, if you want to start a new thread for the plane, that's cool...but I still think it belongs here - ESPECIALLY if the plane Rocks Da House. Might be a reality check for some. If it's junk, then "it is what it is" and we'll read about it here.

I'd consider one for a DA-100 if your build "impression" and flight report is good.

Good luck!

I just figured I'd let the plance stand on its own instead of the title of this thread.
I'm taking pictures now.

...and so are Hanger 9, Great Planes, Wild Hare (recently moved from Thailand), Hyperion, Extremeflight, SD-Model/Aviation Models, RC League, etc., from China.

In fact, over 90% of the ARF planes on the market now come from China.
