Default E-Flite 20 AMP speed control HELP!!

I just finished building my eflite ultimate and hooked everything up. When i moved the throttle nothing happened. The control just emitted a loud beeping noise. We tried everything but nothing seemed to happen. the batteries are charged and everything else moves and works just fine. What should i do? Send it back in and get another one or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have your throttle stick at idle? If its not, the motor will not run until you put the stick at idle. It should make some beeping noises meaning its armed. Your throttle might also be reversed which could be causing the motor not to run.

There is nothing wrong w/ the ESC!!!
You have to set-it up!
But first make sure that the wires from the esc are the correct polarity to the reciver, and then make sure that you turn on your radio first and then connect the battery, but like MrKiwi said, make sure that your throttle stick is all the way down to idle position! If the same thing happens, then read of the manual on how to program the ESC and it should help you..

I don't know about the E-flight ESC's, but some ESC's require you to advance the throttle to full, then back to idle before they arm, it's a built-in saftey feature.

If everything else on the plane is working (servos moving, etc) the plug is plugged in the correct direction.
Here is what could be wrong:
ESC plugged into the wrong channel (needs to be plugged into the throttle channel, not battery or anything else).
throttle channel is reversed - needs to be normal
ATV's are not at 100%
throttle trim is not all the way down
any kind of mix where the throttle is the slave can be putting a command to the throttle that is something other than idle/cutoff
motor/wiring is bad
If none of these are it, then there is a slight possibility that the esc is bad, but highly unlikely.

HUH!??? are you telling him to plug the battery in backwards????? I apologize in advance if this is not what you meant, but if it is, you are completely wrong and will cause him to damage his ESC! To reverse motor rotation, simply swap any two of the three wire connections to the motor. This has nothing to do with why his motor isn't turning, though, either.
