Default 100cc plane

I'm looking for a reasonably priced 35% plane for this year. I don't have an incrediable amount of money to spend. But i am going to equip it with a future 40% plane in mind. So what are some good choices. I've looked around at a lot of planes but any info would be great.

building would probably be the most inexpensive for you, i did the same thing. if you wanted to build i sudgest checking out my sponser, silhavy aerosports (www.silhavyaerosports.net). 35% kits are around $450. the 35% that i built wasnt hard, you just have to think through it and you should be fine.

edit, the link wont work, so click on the link in my signature.

I would look at the QB extra 260. Every thing I have seen about them seems good and they look pretty sweet.

I would get a SD 35% YAK or 35% SD extra is a great deal.

If you are into building kits, then Precision Aviation (Robert Godfrey Designs) has a 35% line up. Their kits are $575. You could get an ARF if you are not into building. Everybody has 35% arfs, you will get what you pay for though!!

I am in the same boat, what is the link to the Harris and Anderson site?? I currently own a 30% AM YAK and I must say it does fly awesome, I was looking at one of the 35% 260s but I am worried about being able to get parts for it.

guys - the SD-model issue with all the previous dealers are long gone - all you do now is contact TBM and Garrett(torquen) and they will sort you out or guide you in the right direction - all the spares are available now!!!! if not PM me and I will put you on the right track with contact mails and phone numbers!!

Hands-down, for the money, the Aeroworks QB 260 at $949 is the best you can get for what you get. I don't know what the SD-models stuff cost right now, but if they are around $800 they wouldn't be bad, either.
If you are really on a tight budget, bang for the buck goes to wildhare planes

Take a look at these www.pacificplanes.com . Pretty similar airplanes, but was redesigned to make them lighter and also have larger control surfaces. Aeroworks are good as well but for the money you really can't beat our 260. it builds in 10-15 hours. It also has carbon tubes, landing gear, and all high quality hardware is included.
