yes you could put a 50 cc in it easy. this is a 46 cc and it fits perfect. the instructions say 23cc but, for the weight i dont think it would do the job. it goes as low as a 120 4 stroke. this should be around 17 to 20 pounds so that small of motor i dont think would fly it as well. this plane is only going to go so fast nomatter what motor you put in it. but i do think the power is needed. the frame is strong enough. its very beefy. it also calls for up to a 2.10 2 stroke which is about as powerfull as a 50 cc gas. and i think the weight would be about the same. and i too think it is a eye catcher. hangar 9 did a great job with this one

Definitley, yes. I think it's written in the AMA rules somewhere that warbirds need to have pilots installed.

Very cool! You will love it! Nothing liek overpowering a war bird. I have the Top Flite P 51 with a 3W 75 in it, and it screams! It sure is fun being able to mix it all up.

very very nice. my bud flys that same plane with a zdz 40. all though he changed the scheme a little so it wouldnt look like all the rest. but he does that with all his planes. i have tryed and tryed to get him to get that exhaust system, he just wont do it. oops wrong pic fuzzy one

ok the retract metal horns came in today. so guess what i was doing tonight. after sitting and looking at it this was the simplest retract system to set up ive seen to date. well at least the retract system is in. last thing to do is switches and set up the radio and, BAMM its maiden time. will post pics tomarrow
