Bendigo is having a large scale glider weekend 29/30 of this month. we get around 20 gliders and 3 or 4 tugs for the weekend and hope to get more this month.Bugger I will be in Dubbo.

Yeah once the rain stopped the wind rolled in. Hoping to get the aero tow thing happening every few weeks so I should be able to get some more vid, especially of the larger stuff.

Personally I think the tow line is too long. we could cut at least 5m off it. Makes for a long landing as you need to clear the fence with the line. Not such a good thing if you have several gliders to tow.

how about a tow line release and drop it on a fly by, most of the bigger ones do this.. have fun!

Yeah that does help, but also slows the turn around time. I like to come off the tow into a steep desent and then setup for landing. Looks much more scale that way.

Finally got the tug and some scale ships back out to the field today. New prop on the tug and I think we have the setup nailed. 2 new gliders so flight times for them were short as setups were tested. Hope to get out again soon and catch a few termals.

sweet!, i am now workign hard to get my husky done so i am on hold withthe ventus, but itll soon be tow season here, as heavy as this husky will be i dont know how itll tow yet but will see
