That's ok.

Once you see it starting to occur, flatten out the climb and level the wings of the tug, let the glider pilot get set again and regain the climb. If it gets out of hand and the glider is whipping around or turns upside down, dump the line. As a tug pilot you should have a finger near or on the tow release switch during the tow incase things go bad. Better to ditch the glider rather than try and fly on and have the tug go down too. If you fly smooth with no sudden movements then you should be ok.

I've never seen that with a scale glider, I've only heard of that when people try to tow polyhedral gliders up. Not to say it doesn't happen, just that we have never had it happen to us.

If you tow some thing heavy and old style like a 6 meter Minimoas and you go up to fast and dont let the glider fly but just drag it up it can get out of shape real easy.
Like Ruty says flattern out the climb a bit and let the glider fly to settel things down.
Having a tow master watching both models helps

I'll be towing up for the first time when I get back this weekend from IMAC. I'm going to use a Telemaster Sr. for the first training tugs then I'll use the gasser when I get the tow clips machined. I'll post some drawings of my tow clips and if you guys could tell me if they will work it would be great.

Remember, not all tugs have to fly at full throttle depending on what you are towing, you have to match glider speed with the tug, to fast always can lead to problems.

Especially important when you turn down wind. The slick modern gliders will overtake to tug before you know it. The glider pilot can pull a little bit of air brake to slow the glider down and keep the line tight.

We maidened the new big tug this morning. Had some trouble getting the 3W 120 to run at first but once that was sorted it was into the air. Turns out it was way to nose heavy and we ran out up up trim. So we'll move some stuff around and try again. Once it is dialed in I think it is going to be an awesome towing machine. Will have the cowl fitted next time.

Here's some pics.
