The best advice here is to make a new friend who has an idea of what to do.
There are a lot of help pages out there, but one is very useful for almost any heli setup.... Its www.raptortechnique.com very good site for everything from electronic set up to, using the simple tools like a pitch guage. Take a look around there. They are spelled out well. As far as pitch ranges, start off with +6 or so for hovering, + 9 for fast forward flight and you dont even need negative in the beginning with a non-nitro ship, as you probably wont have to auto. Giving it 0 pitch allows you to slam the collective back without sucking the machine to the ground (as fast). There's lots of info around there for the pickin' good luck, and keep us posted. T |
