Dude you are going to love the panzel
I have had mine for a year now and I love it.
Jeeum helped me dial it in and it is a blast
a DA 100 on cans is super quiet with plenty
of power for hovers.
Jeeum is the man for set up on this bird.
Good Luck with yours.

I got my Panzl ARF in. Plane looks real nice, less some shipping damage to the hatch. Lucky the fuse wasn't damaged... one end of the box was crushed so bad that it blew a hole in it... you could see the tail of the plane through the patch tape DHL put on it.

I've decided to be really really nitinoid about the weight on this build. I want to make sure it is as light as I can get it while not skimping on servo power. I attached a chart showing the weights of EVERYTHING except a little wood. I anticipate a little under 29 lbs to be the final number, which gives a wingloading of about 34.15 oz/in^2. I could save about 4.5 ozs going with 1 servo per aileron, but I heard they fly much better with 2. I could also save about 6 ozs going with 1 rudder servo, but IMHO this plane is too big for a single 5955, etc... I want gobs of power on the rudder... it'll spend lots of time on its side The two combined would only drop the wing loading to 33.4 oz/in^2... a 2% difference. I think I want the servo power more. I could obviously have saved about 1.5 lbs with a BME-110, but there would be balancing issues. I plan on milling holes out of the center section of the landing gear... It's not really stressed and the holes will revove a lot of weight... the gear weighs 22 ozs! Getting rid of 4-5 ozs is easily possible. Adding a single small bolt in the center would remove any flex.

Anyway... can't wait to get going on her. She should be my best build yet!

Cheers,
Jason

Looks great......

there are now more JTEC planes that you can get.....a new 300 would look good next to the Panzl and the 330..haha

who put on that front rudder servo arm....it looks a bit off....I bet it was Drew....the sissy drinking fool....
