Default South Island IMAC Series - Round 1

The first event planned for 2007 is going to be Round 1 of the first South Island IMAC (Scale Aerobatics) series. This will be held at the Willows (CMAC) on Sunday the 21st of January. Kick off will be at 9:30am and because this is the first IMAC competition, we will level the playing field by getting everyone to fly the basic schedule. This will help everyone get familiar with the sequence (including judges) before moving on to sportsman and intermediate etc. I will be acting as a coach to any new comers who are interested in learning to fly aerobatics, or any old timers who need help learning the new sequences.

The aresti's and descriptions for all the classes can be downloaded from the website. www.nzrcaa.co.nz

The South Island IMAC series is going to be run seperatly to the South Island JR Airsail Pattern Aerobatics series, however there are a number of two day Pattern / IMAC events scheduled this year as most Pattern fliers will also be keen to fly IMAC.

Hopefully we will see you all at the willows next sunday we will be having an unofficial practise day on the Saturday before, but please be aware there is going to be a Plyon competition on in the field over the flood bank so double check your frequencies as we don't want any mishaps. Remember to bring sunblock and a hat as it will be a great day, and also bring your lunch as we are unsure how many people will be there to have a BBQ.

Cheers,
Moped

Hi... yeah think the weather scared them all away. There were a few of us out there in the morning, had a few flights but everyone had other things to do in the afternoon so nothing really eventuated.
