Flying in Fort Worth
Hello from Fort Worth, TX. My name is Shawn Regan and I fly at the Golden Triangle Radio Control Club in Grand Prairie, TX and at Thunderbird Field in Fort Worth, TX. I am returning to flying after about a 15 year layoff (kids, life, etc.) I currently fly a Hangar 9 27% Extra 260 with a DA-50 using a 22X10 NX prop. I am interested in giant scale aerobatics and hope to compete some in IMAC this year. Haven't tried the 3-D stuff yet but who knows, maybe some day.
Anyway, glad to be back flying and really enjoying the "gas" experience. Someone told me that if you ever try gas, you will never go back and I have to say that is a true statement. Looking forward to learning a lot on this site. Happy flying, Shawn |

I have started flying at Lake Dallas, but have flown several times at Thunderbird field(nice Field). welcome back to the hobby, might catch you out at the field soon!
