Default Main Landing Gear

I've been building a 38% extra 300 for the past year and a half now and just now discovered I might have set the main landing gear backwards......I find it pretty difficult to tell which side is front and which is back.

Is there a rule for this.....one side of the gear is cut straight while the other is angled.

Its probably a pretty stupid question but just can't figure it out....( actually hoping that what I did a year back was the right thing ),,,inputs would be appreciated.

The strait part goes to the front and the angle is in the back.
