I don't know about those particular model numbers, but I can't tell a bit of difference between my KS and MTW cans in both sound and performance. Mine were on the 150, so maybe others will chime in to say if there is any noticable difference in the ones for a 100.

No problem. If it were me, I would just get whichever ones costs less.

Will the 3W cans not fit? DA told me after running the BMB cans they were the most quiet ones they have run.

the 3w cans are too long i would have to cut the manifolds to only 10cm , not good so i must get some shorter cans.

The JMB can from RC showcase work well in a tight space since it is a completely non-tuned can and header length is not a factor. Just cut the header as short as you can.

i know that if there was more effert put into this subject on quieting down moter noise there wouldnt be the problem that a lot of you guys are having with your flying sites. be like me, laydown hundreds of thousands of dollars for your own flying site with other houses around and you will make a real effert to cut the noise back. i wish the guys that make these cans and pipes would chime in with some help. all my planes are large plus full size. been here 11 years and not one comment on noise. and i dont let noisey planes fly off my site. cut open a lv90 yesterday and increased the lenght by 6 inches. not much baffling in there. i know i can do better and not strangle the moter. some of us like noise, but the people living nearby dont. come on guys , speak up on this subject. question for the big elec, guys. what db reading would you get from a 28.5 x12 3blade mejzlik doing 5500 rpm ? alex

i think part of the trouble with getting quieter is the weight gain from the extra metal needed for more baffles and larger cans.

to joe and pops. in a tow plane weight is not a problem. as for the pro flow you guys are in a better position to check them out for noise. remember i am the last stop before the south pole . there must be someone that has the answers to noise. remember, tow planes are like some kids, better seen and not heard. or do we just make our own ? in my edge i think the sound in the fuse, is comming out of those thin cans and rattling around. to dave sullivan, if your cans are the answer you give me one to try. if its a winner i will buy it then get 2 more for my edge. 3w 170 3 blade and induction muffler fitted. i also think the cowl needs lined with something to keep engine noise from getting out. alex
