Default GMS 1.20 or Super Tigre G2300

Woundering of your opinions between the GMS 1.20 and the Super tigre G2300.
The Super Tigre is about 7oz heavier, but it also is a 1.40 instead of a 1.20.
Tell me your good and bad about both.

I had a GMS 1.20 a few years back. It was just ok, not great. I eventually replaced the stock carb witha TT120 carb as I couldn't get the mid range to my liking.

Someone told it the GMS is a copy of a Webra. The muffler mounting holes spacing is identical.

I can't give you a comparison as I've never had the GS2300, however, I would suggest that there a a lot of other choices out there for 1.20 two strokes.

I've had great success with the Thunder Tiger 1.20 - great engine. Much stronger than the GMS. It also reacts well to any sort of tuned pipe set-up.

OS 120 AX - my current favourite. Excellent power to weight ratio. Easy handling.

When you're getting into the 1.40 size range it's also worth looking at the OS 1.60 as its in a similar weight bracket.

Yeh, I also am a OS man, but I can get the GMS with a bisson pitts for $125.00 brand new.
The Super Tigre with stock muffler for $119.00 brand new.
Love all OS and really love the 1.20 with that muffler taht can be a pitts style, but @ $265.00 it's a long price from the other two.
