Default Aviation Models 30% Yak control horns

I just got my 30% Aviation Models Yak (free shipping this month too!!!). I wanted to use rocket city control horns but they don't line up with the hinge line. Any ideas what would work well on this plane. I was thinking maybe the Chip Hyde aluminum ones?

I like to use the Dubro HD ones with the 8/32 bolts. They come with a long arm on the horn, that I just mark, re-drill and then cut off the excess with a dremel. Gives you the ability to make custom horns for your bird, and end up with perfect geometry with your linkages.

The rocket city/Nelson are the best IMO. It's not that big of a deal to me if they don't line up to the hing line (I fix that with my setup). The problem with the ones like Dubro that are longer is that they can rotate on the horn bolt, especially with 3D rates. So I set mine up with Nelson and they work fine. I always adust my control rod length to get equal up/down throws and reset the center and endpoints of the servos on my tx. Works great.

I have the rocket city type controle horn form Hangar 9. The 8-32, the biggest one.

Mine doesnt line up with the center and I am just using a strait MLP arm.

I dont understand what the problem would be. It seems to work fine that way.

whats the deal with the geometry?
