I missed the earlier parts of the thread, but wanted to write and find out how it balanced out with a DA150 up front? Any issues? Did you have to add weight? What servos did you use for ailerons and elevators out of curiousity?

Thanks,

Gerry

Hi,

Well its 8611a all around, the 2X Lion packs (5600 mah, 7.4 v from TBM) are located on the firewall, the CG is PERFECT!
a little back, just how I like it.
No bad habbits on this plane.

Here's another pic from the test flight.
feel free to ask anything.

cheers,
Ziv

looking good!!!
I can't wait to see it flying!

Is it the same size as the h9 ultimate?

It looks a bit smaller in the picture.

HI Sahar,
The WM ultimate is a few inch short but the wing span is the same and the wing area too.
According to the manufactures specifications and weight of the WM is lighter.

Looks awesome. How many servos did you use on the surfaces--2 each aileron for a total of 8, or did you try just 4 total? How about elevatork, particulary as you balanced it--2 or 4 total?

How did the plane fly in terms of power with the 150? Need more for more vertical? Havne't decided if I'd go with a 150 or a 210. Are you running standard mufflers or cannisters?

Sorry to pester you with so many questions... just trying to figure out what I'm going to do with mine.

Thanks ahead of time!

Gerry

I saw a little more detail once I enlarged the pics... Looks like 8 aileron servos and 4 on the elevators. Also, from what I saw it looks like standard mufflers.

How does it fly with the 150?

nice... The 150 enough tho? I would think it would be stressing it, but maybe not

No Need!
Yes, there is room for conisters or tune pipes, but you realy do not need them.
the DA150 is more than enough power for this plane.
Lathough I was worried at first, the first time I pulled of a TR I felt very relaxed as it pulled like a M_ _ _ _ F _ _ _ _R .....

Cheers,
Ziv

Thanks for the info. It is not always about power, I have to be under 96db at 3m for our new field.

Cheers

Hey Buzz,

I understand.
We do not have strict noise regulations here so this issue was never discussed.

I used 10mm standoffs (made myself of hard wood) and it was perfect.
what is AUW?
