Sadly, it no longer exists. It had an abrupt meeting with mother earth a couple of years ago.
Yes that's the one. If I remember right he had a 160 with 4 chapman pipes and had a lot of problems with the setup.

Thanks

Ahhh yes. UAE,, I loved being in Dubai. Got to meet and hang with Sheik Alli. Great guy. He was into shooting sports, fishing , automobile collecting and model airplanes!! Good pilot. Thanks for sharing your Ultimate adventure. The 160 we had sounded awesome but broke constantly. Couldn't keep the thing together for more than 3 flights without a trip to the shop. Hopefully you'll have better luck!

Man, UAE now is totally diffrenent, you should come over and see for yourself. back in the early 80s, I think you could dead stick a Boeing 767 and you would still land it safely anywhere now, I don't think you can.

well ladies and gents, she actually flies

we were planning to have a full day of flying on last Saturday, but just when we thought she was ready, we found out a couple of things that needed to be done and by the time we were done, the sun almost set, and having to work on the following day, I decided to go ahead and fly the thing even though the engine was way out to tune (when we started the engine in the past week or so it ran nice, but I decided to add a bit more oil into the mixture and that sure messed things up). She ran like crap below half throttle. So off we go, she needed a couple of left clicks and 4 down clicks and she flew hands off. so far I can't tell you anything about how she flies since the engine was just too rich and it was almost too dark plus I was scared to hell to crash it (very old plane, not running right engine, new setup, and being my first big plane after flying 50cc). I will post a better flight report on this weekend tho.

Anyway, here are a couple of more pics and a vid of the take off and landing.

and finally the vid (you will not DIVX codec to play it) http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=20563&cat=1

Thanks

Ahmed
