Great Planes E-Fest is ON!
Well, it’s that time of year again! The Great Planes E-Fest is on, and The FlyingGiants will be out in force, ala Mike Martin, to bring back coverage of this killer event, and of course an accompanying photo flood! The GPEF is one of the fastest growing indoor funflys, and is in the heart of Champaign Illinois – the backyard of the “Big 2” hobby distributers – Horizon and Great Planes. Taking place at the University of Illinois indoor track field, the venue simply could not be better. An added bonus for our friends living in the “popscicle stick” of America – heeeeeeeat! Have fun out there fellas, and if you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and say hi to Biff, Wizard, Wayne, Mark Trent, Jason Krause, and the countless other members of The FlyingGiants crew who will be in attendance! Videos on the way..

I just got checked in to the hotel and got the computer hooked up. I will be taking photos and hopefully some video. I will be uploading at night. Getting ready to go check out the venue. More later.

I was there all day today.
Frank Noll put on an indoor IMAC/F3P for a few of us this morning that was a total blast. Then we flew the rest of the day while vendors were setting up. Looks to be setting up for a great weekend. See everyone there.

Went back over for a few. I spotted an elusive creature. JAS was fondling it, but I found a better looking set of hands to hold it for the photo.
