Default Battery Question's

Hey Guys
Well we just moved to North Carolina last week from Michigan.

Was planning on flying my Radiowave Panzl with Al Young from Jted/Radiowave tomorrow, but the batteries, Li-Ions all three (2 receiver and 1 igintion) are reading less then 3 volts. Are they too low voltage to charge, or do I need ne

Also my Jr 10x is on its third battery, a Nickel Metal Hydride after market, and it does not hold a charge, who make good Li-ion for the radio?

I have been using Troy built batteries, what brand of batteries and chargers do you guys recommend?

Thanks

Bill

Duralite will take your 10X battery case and install Lithiums. I purchased a 10X pack from them. They will ask you to send in the case. I think they may also have cases?????Call to get info.

I have used Troybuilt and Fromecos, never a problem.

Whidbey1.

Technically your batteries are paper weights but I have recovered some packs from zero and they are still running strong to this day.

What brand are they, if you nudge them a few times with your charger you might get lucky. If you do get them to light back up again cycle them at least twice to be sure they are getting a full charge and not just carrying a flash charge.

Sometimes you win and sometimes you dont. Luck of the draw mate.

Agree with what Kiwi said, they may come back but most likely not. Do you have failsafe switches installed? If so, you've got to be careful to unplug your batts if the plane is going to sit for more then a couple days.
