Giant ups to JeagerBomb and Patty!!

I was working in St. Louis at the Bud plant so I called my boy JeagerBomb (Mark Trent). We had tons of foamies to build and Mark invited me to stay at his home. We had a blast! Mark and I built 5 foamies (2 Flying Giants foamies, 2 Syphers and an AeroCat) Listened to Mark's killer selection of tunes, had a couple beverages, played NEED FOR SPEED (dear God Max, I'm playing computer games!!!)

I had about 30 minutes to make it to the airport when I was told to head to St. Louis, so I was woefully unprepared. As my hair was about as long as Ted Nugents, Patty cleaned out her schedule at a WAY upscale salon to make sure my hair was Toro acceptable. Got a bitchin' cut and a scalp massage that literally put me to sleep!

Mark and Patty were so kind as to not only let me stay with them (I sleep in hotels about 200 nights a year,,get's REALLY old) they also gave me the code to the door. Truly my house is your house kinda gig.

Mark and I headed to the E-Fest together and enjoyed some time with buds in our room. It was sure great to be road tripping with a flying buddy who was always on time (I just can't be late for these things) and really enjoyed his vibe.

I was able to see how Mark builds such incredible airplanes. He had two Carden 260's on the bench and it was great to pick his uber creative noggin about how he does stuff. Also saw his transmitter tray. It's very well machined and thought out,,,,,, but it IS a tray.

In all the years what has kept me in this hobby is my flying buddies. Friends you can call when I'm in town to share a beverage with, build some planes or go fly. Mark's WAY upbeat attitude and never ending energy have made him a true flying buddy in every sense of the word. His wife Patty is such a sweet heart (and hottie!!). I just wanted to thank them for making me feel like family rather than a house guest.

Both are class acts and both dear friends. Thank you so much for such a great time and all of your hospitality. Truly a great week!!!

That's extremely cool that you had such a good time. Mark seems like an awesome dude, that's no doubt, and I'm sure his wife is also.

Biff, you and Mark are definately some cool dudes! Thanks alot for letting me hang out and drink your frosty beverages saturday night at the hotel, it was alot of fun. I'm not able to make it to alot
of events, but the ones i do make it to, its not just the airplanes that make it so great, its the people!

I must say I had a great time as well. The comraderie was very welcome. Biff is the man. I put him under the gun repeatedly and he always pulled through, a champion in my eyes.
