Default is it too late?

i have a TP 3s 730mah lipo that i use for my foamies
i let my brother use it to run it in his car and i went to check it the other day

...

it read 4.6v

is there anyrthing at all i can do to save this battery or is it just a lost cause?

Little known fact. Send the pack back to TP - I have heard that they will replace them with the latest greatest for a huuuuuge discount. Same with all packs. Can confirm this?

Just re-charge it. it will get it's charge back up but you will have less flight time.

when i read TP warranty it only covers origional defects

if you send it to thunder power with half of what it cost new in cash they will replace it for a new one at half price, they are really good at that.

Wayyyy bad idea. I did the same to one of mine. It burst into flames!! bad part was that it was in my '96 Suburban. Ever try to land a 40% airplane while your ride is engulfed in flames??? I can laugh about it now, Esurance gave me 500.00 more than I paid for it so I just went down and bought a '99 same color and all.

At that low of a voltage the cells can get way out of balance. If you do recharge them
make sure its on a balancing charger and at a slow rate..

my friend had one like that happen to his only his was a 1320 and he did something with a 12 volt battery to revive it. it was kool. now that battery works great.
