Kevin.. I sent you a PM but you must be busy with bottles, diapers etc. cause I didn't get a response.

So, congratulations!! We missed ya at the contest and when I asked around, no one knew the particulars. I was already coming up with screen names for the little one. I hope these are helpful when the time comes.

I read the DA thread, but still had some questions.

1) Is there a deadline to declare or apply for shootout consideration.
2) Is there a fee to be considered

or do we just wait till Aug 1 to send in application/entry etc

The deadline is July 31 for contests to count for automatic invite.

DA reserves the right to invite more pilots on top of the 10. They will also let you know the final cost closer to the event. Last year it was $300 to enter.
