Does anyone have this heli? I've been looking around for a cheap 3D machine that is ready to
fly, but one that i can use my spektrum radio with. I've looked into the T-rex, and also the MX400 and 450 helis, but this one looks kind of tempting... Any thoughts? |

I may have it... I may fly it more as well...
Its not a bad machine at all... for the money. I'm no heli champ believe you me, but it seems very stable for what it is. I had a few issues with set up.. but thats mainly my inexperience.

well i have just recently been dabbling with the choppas, but I'm (and i hate to say it)
really starting to enjoy! once you get past the hover part, its quite fun. i just sold my blade cp (for several different reasons) and i'm wanting something a little more solid, so this falcon is looking like a pretty schweet deal |

It's a good starter heli, but cheap, 3d, and rtf are three words that never go together well with heli's.

performance. I want good aerobatic capabilities too, but i really dont need something "3D" capable just yet... the main reason i was looking into the falcon is for the brushless motor and speed controller, the shaft driven tail rotor, a FULL frame unlike those of the blade series with the little plate with some holes in it. |

Jared I just bought a Helimax AXE CP. I really like it. Way more beefier than the Blade CP. Has a larger tail motor, so the tail has better control. Parts are reasonable too. I bought it from Tower Hobbies. I joined there saver plan and added a couple of battery conectors to get the price of the copter over $200, then I got a discount from joining the savers program, free shipping and it also discounted the heli. I paid a total of $198.00 plus that included the savers program and shipping. Awesome deal. Plus I'm very happy with the heli.

Stang the AXE is a cool heli, but I'm not a big fan of the motorized tail rotor.
Its a nice flying heli, but the tail motor just seems a bit late when on the gas... But it does seem stable!
