Most importantly, if the engine comes loose it will change your throttle and choke throws, possibly to the point that neither will have enough throw to kill the engine. Also, if the battery for the rx should die or you otherwise lose power to the receiver, the ignition will cut off, preventing a possible catastrophic crash situation. Should the same happen with only a choke servo, you're S.O.L...
Oh, and the smart-fly unit is lighter.
