2007 SIN CITY IMAC
Ok, so you thought last year was fun............at the 2006 Las Vegas IMAC
-Only 30 Day notice of the contest -65 registered pilots and 58 show up -19 Sponsors -At least 2 prizes per pilot -Everything ran smoothly -Dust devil, just to keep it interesting -Raffle for a 100CC Ultimate open to anyone (you just paid shipping if you won) -Aerotech 50cc Yak raffled to the pilots -Plaques through 5th place That was Last Year----- This year is going to be HUGE!!!!!! -Contest Dates 4-5-6 May (4th is practice and maybe something else) -15 Pilots already signed up (signup here) -Lots of things are in the planning process and will be posted once final Sponsors so far Monster Energy Drink Custom Foamies Forgues Research Dietrich Aircraft Sam Gaglio 2007 Sin City IMAC Las Vegas Contest Director

OK........Just like last year we have come up with a plane to raffle off to the general public. This time we wanted to pick a plane that was better for 3D and IMAC. Also something that would fly well on any motor you decide to put in it.
Many thanks go out to our sponsor www.BuyRC.com. Here's how it works. Paid pilots get 1 ticket for the plane. Anyone can purchase tickets. They are $5 a ticket or 5 tickets for $20 Like last year I will send your ticket stubbs to you or send you a picture via email of them or just send you the numbers...(up to you). We will draw the name of the winner on Sunday of the contest after the unknown round. This year I will accept paypal (but you must pay the 3% fee) I will take a picture of the winning ticket and place it online. If the winning ticket holder is not present.......I will hold the plane until reasonble accomadations can be made for you to pick it up or you pay the shipping to get it to you. For field directions, it's 3.7 miles north of the Beltway/215 on Decatur Blvd. For those using Mapquest, use the intersection of Horse Dr. and Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas for the field. The field is approximately 1/2 mile east of that intersection on Horse Dr.

Just a quick note.
Last year this contest was a great success!!!! This year should be no different. What more can you ask for? Flying model airplanes, hanging out with your friends, and Las Vegas all in one weekend.  No way will I miss this one. |
