Sorry to hear that Tom. . your appendix is a necessary organ which stores good bacteria that help your digestive processes. Losing your appendix hurts your digestion.

Resurrecting an old thread.

I have a giant rabbit but its been a year and a half since I last flew it. Planning on resurrecting it. Wondering what's been going on with the plane... anyone still flying it? Can't find any recent threads.

Have any problems developed? Anything I should be aware of before I flip the DA-150 to life?

Wildhare's website doesn't have the plane or any other 150cc stuff on their price list... have they stopped supporting it?

Thanks

I'm still flying mine. Flies very well. I'm going to scratch build a replica of a Super Extra (out of wood) to replace it for next year, though. The Big Bunny is a good flier, very smooth and tracks well, but not as 'snappy" as I like. But for IMAC it is very good, though you need a little more aileron throw for upline snaps. . and sharp negative snaps on a 45 downline, from inverted, take a lot of down elevator for the break. .about the only down side for the plane, unless you think the mixing percentages for KE are excessive, which they are not.

oh wow this thread hasnt been touched in a while! i got one of these godly planes used with no damage besides wheel pants but im not using those anyway to show the cool wheels from white rose engineering! im setting mine up on an 11x with r1222 powersafe reciever and no matchboxes utilizing every possible multi servo slot on the 11x. im throwing an old 3W-150 dual spark motor up front. 8711's all around. two 2300Mah a123 packs on receiver one or two 1100's on the dual ignition system. fromeco wolverine on receiver and badger on ignition. my dad is custom making canisters. and im stuck on what length servo arms i could not find the suggestion in the book. i using this plane stricly for IMAC and im buying arms from secraft. i was think 1.25" arms for everything except rudder were i think i will use 1.5" arms and both rudd servos are most likely going in the tail due to the 3W upfront. wooh i feel like this is an old airplane but it is so nice especialy when on a shoestring budget!
