Default 40% Jtec 330 Extra

Hey guys does anyone know how this planes flies?I am looking at the Pak kit and was wondering what the scoop is.

1. Good for Imac and 3D?
2. Any bad habits?
3. Easy to assemble?
4. Heavy with DA-150 on standard pipes?

Any input would be appreciated.

I've snoozed on pleanty of deals and I said that I wouldn't snooze on this one. My buddy had a RTF 38% CA for $2800 that I passed on (I have no idea why).

It should be about 40 lbs on std mufflers and about a pound heavier on cans.......

as soon as I can I'll get it on its nose on a scale and see what we got weightwise, a friend of mine keeps a good scale in his van, I believe that it is fairly accurate.

I owned on for a couple of years. Absolutely the best flying bird I've had my hands on. I re-Kitted it a couple of months ago and I'm getting a 300S PAK as soon as they come in. You won't be disappointed! Some of the Carden guys couldn't believe how well it harriered. No bad habits at all.

Glad to hear that.It is a toss up between this and the CA 38% Extra. How ever if the control surfaces are already cut that would be a bonus.Tried to e-mail and call but have gotten no answer as of yet.

Dan,

I though I would throw up some picture of the pak kit for you, my dad told me about your email so I thought it might help. Obviously I am very partial to the airplanes so I will try to let everyone else comment on how well the fly. I will say they are great for IMAC which is what I primarily fly. Mine have weighed 38 and 39 lbs with a DA 150 and standard mufflers, if you are considering canisters you will be looking at about 40-41 lbs but considering the wingspan it is pretty reasonable (in my opinion).

As far as building the 40% 300 is the first real plane that I have built and I have about 6 hrs or so in it and the fuse is basically framed out. It is very easy everything is all interlocking and pretty much self alligning.
