Will the SST modules available for the 72mHz radios work with the 35mHz radios we use in Europe?

The long servo leads on a giant scale can act as a receiver. I have an i4c isolator in my 33% to prevent these gliches. Does the spektrum system eliminate the need for servo isolation?

You are correct....I stand corrected.
The guys that make the isolator can't be happy about the spektrum system I would guess.

Its doubtful the harmonics produced by the interferring RF will be strong enough to cause any problems at 2.4g, but I, like toprudder, will not rule anything out...

So with the spektrum system is the risk so small of getting interference from servo leads that it would be o.k. to run without an isolator? It would be one less failure point and less weight and money. I just want to keep my airplane as simple as possible but still keep it safe. I think Wayne Geffon runs without any kind of isolator in his 40%'ers without any trouble. (correct me if i'm wrong Wayne)

Many people don't use additional equipment. I think the only sort of extra equipment that Wayne has in his planes is a Electro Dynamics FO Kill Switch. K.I.S.S.

Once my Spektrum system arrives, I still plan on using the i4c Isolator in my Carden. Ensures me still the peace of mind.
