so I guess we cant use the same transmitter for 2.4, and 72 seeing as the antenna actually has to come through the transmitter.

As a little back ground: I was granted the rights to the firmware for the ACE MicroPro 8000 transmitter and am the author of the current level 5 release of that software. Due to that, I can transmit what ever is required to interface to the Spektrum modules. I just need to know what is required. Thanks, Dan Thompson |

With the pricing, I wonder if I shouldn't just wait and see if they come out with a 9-10 channel Spektrum transmitter.
$299 is $50 less than a DX-7 complete system. Sure, I get to use my current transmitter - but this is making my current 9C a $600+ transmitter. |

I won't be throwing away my R5014DPS receivers just yet, but I'll definitely be holding off on any further purchases of receivers until we see how the market shakes out on this..
FG rocks when it comes to gettin' the low down on what's happening in the industry! Bill |

If two power sources are used they must be the same chemistry and # cells. Paul |

So the AR9000 doesn't use 2 receivers like the 7000?

The external receivers improve path diversity as well as redundancy. Paul |
