I appology if I went over board in my previous post. I took it off. Let's enjoy flying and put all problems behind us. Marcel. I can not wait to get my engine back so I can take it up in the air.

I'm still trying to get a refund for the $37 worth of parts I ordered in June and still haven't got.
Wish I had known.... Glad someone hooked me up with the Valley View guys who have been great.

I build field flight stands and Tom put them on his website for me, couldn't ask for anything better, if you would like to view them you can go to Valley View www.valleyviewrc.com under Accessories or to my website at www.edsrcfieldstands.com. I build these to help support my hobby and not on a commercial basis. Thanks Tom and Jody Ed |

Thanks guys,
They are built one at a time, and yes Jody I can make them any size you want, all I need is the wing root measurement. Or pencil me up a drawing of the alterations you want and I will build you one. I have been thinking of sending one to Tom to try out! If anyone reads FlyRc Mag there is an ad that sells a stand similar to mine and its 2X the price I am asking. I have sold over 97 of these in the last year mostly at contests I fly and to members of my club. Most do not use them at the field but in their shop. Of course I have 2, one for the field and one in the my shop. My field stand is 34" between saddles for my Katana and have loaned it to some of the 100 and 150CC guys at times. If you want one let me know, you can contact me thru my website, email, or phone number listed. Thanks to all Ed

Well, the verdict is out. I bought my CRRC 26 back in May. After a few weeks of running, I had to send to Canada (Paragon RC) where several parts were replaced. Shortly after the prop hub cracked and I had to buy a new one which also cracked later (this time I got a free replacement from Valley View RC). Then the hall sensor's mount broke and it too needed to be replaced (I bought 2 just in case). And just when everything seemed to be OK the darn ignition fails. This is my first gas engine and I really like the way it runs, but, it seems to me that the quality of the parts is at least sub standard. So, for my next gas engine, I may have to look elsewhere.

Is it ok to drill the prop washer and spindle to accept a couple of prop bolts?

I suppose you could if you wanted to, although I can't think of a reason to do so. I know of several engines up to 50cc with only 1 bolt or nut holding the prop on that have no problem with slipping. You would want to be careful to get them exactly 180 deg. from each other to maintain proper balance.

Yea, that would be a problem, but my 26 kicks back during start up and knocks the prop and nut loose. I don't think I'm over choking it...Just in case, what's the proper starting procedure?
