I love them and i agree that non of the schemes really grab me but the lines are nice.It would probably be in my top 3 picks for my next 100cc plane.

Hello Skymaster68, Good choice on the 2.6 comp r 260
, you won't be disappointed. What engine are you going for? I reckon the new DA 85 would be an excellent candidate . This of course is only my opinion.

Hi guys,
I've just ordered the new 260 2.6 in the Kiwi yellow scheme, have to wait till May to get it though. I haven't decided which motor yet DA 100 or the new 85 on tuned pipe. Here they maybe a great 3D machine with the lighter wing loading of the DA85. I will be interested in any future build photo's and tips you guys may have. Yes I agree Carf do need to update some of there schemes, right across their range. Regards Gavo |

Skymaster, I am running the same set up just with mtw cans and JR guidance.
Im sure the both the DA 85 and 100 will power this plane with no problem, the 85 on a tuned pipe has got to be pretty nice in this plane. |

Looks nice! I love the scheme! My favorite right behind the JR scheme..
I dont care what people think about the fantacy scheme.. Its a good looking plane up in the air and very visible! If it looks like a Scooby Doo Van to you, than the sad part is that your the only one i heard that from...

I dont have it flying yet but its comming together. Ill be sure to tell you when the flying date is getting close, right now im not too worried b/c how crappy the weather is but I want to make sure I have plenty of time w/ it befor joe nall. So far I have the cowling and canopy mounted, all the horns done, and the landing gear finished.
This is a pic from a few days ago, we kinda all convinced each other to buy composites. All the planes are really nice, its surprising how close the BVM is to the Comps. It should be pretty cool once they are all done because they all have about the same set up, so it will be interesting to see how each one flies. |

I dont know if any one can help me on this, given that the plane is so new, but I need to know what kinda drop in need for the headers on a DA 100 w/ MTW cans. I looked at the comp arf site and they just say that you need to order the 2.6m can set for the da 100 but it doesnt tell you the actual drop. Its probably the same at the other 2.6m so if you know that it might help too.
Thanks |
