I have one on the way too - I love the scheme. I won't be building it for a while. I might use my Super 80 ... or maybe the new DA85 on a pipe once they are available. No rush as I have other planes to fly.

Well the 260 finally arrived this weekend I looks pretty good, the crane was in perfect condition so I was happy to accept it....
But.... when I assemble the wings I noticed that one of them did not look right, please take a look yourself

Are the glue joints on the rest of the plane better than the ones on your wing pin and around the root rib?
On the plus side these planes are supposed to fly just awesome. I'm sure C-Arf will help you out. |

I heard somewhere that the compy jets have a problem with the wing blowing apart at the LE joint. they say to cover it with some half inch vinyl. wonder if that was shipping damage or a bad mold set

Well the rest of the plane joints looks very good, it is reparable. But I don't like the idea of getting a brand new plane and with this kind of quality to be with this problems...
I donīt think it was a shipping damage the crane did not have any damage at all. Will see what the com arf people tell me about this then will post what they say. Rgds CC

Well I think I may take the plunge and get myself one of these 2.6 260's, They look the goods. Mine will be the basic setup, No power expander,8411's all round,Set it up just like my [Fiber Clasic] Extra 330 not comp arf that I still fly (Thanks Jenko) For a well set out model

I talked to Jason Shulman and Darcy last week and both said the Kiwi scheme is out of stock until May or June. I'll contact them again.

I got mine yesterday. I will do a thread here. There is an outstanding one on the Team Flying Circus site... but hey ... I will do one here. It won't be for a while as flying weather is here and I need to order a few more things.

I also received my 2.6m Extra 260 today in the Flying ****** Theme. The quality is outstanding. I will start the build this weekend!
