ROB404-450.jpg Either one of these are good. The old penny holder Robart has been around for years and for good reason it works. The Hanger 9 meter is also a good meter and you can buy an extention to use it gor giant scale. Stay away from the Great planes meter as I own it and it is not that great. You can find both of these on the Horizon website.Just type in incidence meter in the search bar.

Get the Digital Level from Sears...
Use the bars from Hanger 9 (red ones above) and that sears level. Perfection! (See my Dalton 260 build thread for pictures around the 2nd or 3rd to last page)

I have the Robart, the Hanger 9 and the Sears digital level. The Robart is very good, I do not like the Hanger 9, hysterisis issues. The bars from any, Hanger 9, Robart, and the Sears level are the answer. Very repeatable on measurement after measurement unlike the Hanger 9 digital. Measure twice, cut once.

I have a Robart meter. I have had it for years and used it to build many straight, good flying airplanes.
I also now have the AeroPerfect meter. I do not know how I lived without it. I still use my Robart for quick checks and for the bars and adapters. There are just so many uses for these meters that you are only limited by your imagination. Good reading if you have a few minutes http://www.aeroperfect.com/index.html |
