Default Leading edge Dalton 300

I am building a Dalton 300 and have a question for you all.

How do you like to shape the leading edge of your wings? With a half inch of stock on the leading edge, I am limited to a fairly rounded profile on the root end of the wing. The tip, if you make an effort to keep as much of the half inch of stock would result in a sharp leading edge (relatively). So how do you do it and why? Do you create a radius on the root and tip and shape the wood from end to end, or do you transition from a blunt or rounded root to a sharper tip?

The first method is easy to do but the second would worry me a little. I would think it would take a lot of time to be sure the transition was even across both wings.

The stabs on this kit were not a problem as there was a profile of the stabs on the plans. The wings and rudder did not have cross sections shown.

Thanks for your thoughts.
