Houston Mini Pro Bro video

I got a break this weekend and edited the footage from the March 10 2007 Mini Bro at Space City in Houston TX. Unfortunately the XL2 was not in attendance as it was getting fixed in California. However I did bring my new little camera (pole cam and handheld) and used that for this video. The quality is not as good, and there is more shake in the footage because of it being a light handheld. But the video still turned out super kick ass with the pole cam cap/mojo action and night carnage. Got good close ups of the Cap and Mojo from in the air and of course some good crashing at night.

There is a lot of footage one of the Bros and his 40% foamy..uh I mean...Carden cap getting down and dirty during the day, and usual profile carnage and fun at night under the lights.

It was a great mini-bro with over 20 people in attendance. I make two cameos in the video, the first time I have ever been in one of my vids. The footage is put to the song, V Shaped Mind - Monsters Under the Bed.

Awesome, the main Hou-Bro should be great. Only about half the members (30) coming than at NashBro 2006 (70 people) though. I believe I was asked to do a DVD for Hou-Bro as well by Ynot. We'll see how that goes since I've gotten my big camera back.

mikey told me u were using a 3ccd camera from panisonic. which one are u using.
i just got the gs 320 and im very happy with it compared to my last camera lol.
and are u using a certin tape or brand and do u use the dv fire wire or the usb to transefer your vid.

For this video I used a single CCD Panasonic PV-GS80 handicam (the small camera in the picture) since my main camera was off getting cleaned. All of my other videos are shot with a 3 CCD Canon XL2 (the large camera in the picture), which has a detatchable lens system. Each camera uses firewire to upload, and both shoot in widescreen. I just use regular miniDV tapes to record on in each camera.

I would have liked to get a small 3 CCD camera, but the little GS80 was to be put in harms way all the time so I didn't want to sink too much money onto it. Overall I am happy with both of their performances for the price, I hope to upgrade to Canon's HDV soon though.
