It doesn't matter, Mithrandir. . the principle holds true. . no matter what you call it.

I'll go back and edit my posts so I appear to be perfect. That's what everyone wants. . the appearance of perfection, which is why we fly IMAC, or Pattern.

It seems that Car and Driver was wrong in their dissertation on chassis weight distribution fundamentals some 20 years ago.

Kris, polar moment of inertial has absolutely NOTHING to do with what you are trying to describe. It is strictly a measurement or value relating to an objects resistance to twisting. I think what you are trying to describe is more along the lines of rotational kinetic energy, which can be reduced by "massaging" your wings

Kris,

Is "dedeleration rate" something one uses to measure the degeneration of a brain as it is approaching the "Dee-dee-dee" state ?

I stand corrected on the factoid. I used it in a colloquial sense and not quite correctly. I love it when I get a correct correction.

factoid |ˈfakˌtoid| noun a brief or trivial item of news or information. • an assumption or speculation that is reported and repeated so often that it becomes accepted as fact.

I did mean it in the sense that it was a brief little news item relating to my opponents continued inability to use terms properly. When corrected he refuses to accept it, and then goes off on another unrelated tangent. This is a perfect example of what Sir Francis Bacon meant when he said: "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing". And Kris has so little he is damn near lethal!!!!

And my drunken mother beat me with a large metal soup ladle.

In my defense, I too work full time, but I get to do it from home. But I have been so remiss this week that I had to write a note to my personnel file admonishing me for the time I spent on the internet this week. One more incident like this and I will be forced to fire myself.

But NO knowledge lets you be THE JUDGE. or should I more accurately say . .The Popinjay.

Your mother used a soup ladle . .you got soup???

I find that except for the occasional mis-term, you cannot refute ANYTHING I have said. .

Either I am VERY right. . or you are VERY inept. Somehow the latter seems the truer sense of reality.

Alright! BREAK IT UP, BREAK IT UP! Fighters in your corners!!!

We're bumping the voting up an hour to 7pm PST.

Each deathmatcher will have ONE final opportunity to close the match. NO rebuttal will be allowed. Contestants - keep in mind, this will be the final opprotunity to sway any potential votes that might be on the fence... Like mine

A modicum of sportsmanship would be impressive.

Get it on!

Voting begins in 45 minutes.

- Madmax AKA Mills Lane.

Has there actually been anything written about wood vs. 'glass yet? I need to know if I am going to sell off my Compy or not. What if I 'glassed a wood airplane?

You do not mean of course the times that you write an extensive tome using an incorrect precept and then I confront you with verifiable facts and outside references, right? Oh well, simply because you refuse to acknowledge that you are wrong does not mean you are right. And I guess in your case "occasional" means almost every time you hit "Submit Reply".

I have been refuting much of what you post since around 1999 or so. At times I got so weary that I would ignore you, if that is possible. But then you pop up again spouting off what initially sounds almost lucid, but then it becomes clear that you have lost yourself in your own mishmash of twisted logic.

Honestly Kris, this has been fun, but in the end also a little sad since it has mostly served to illustrate just how thick you can be when you think you are right. You did not get that this was not really about which is better, wood or composite, did you?? Oh well.

I'm off to eat dinner. I will leave my fate in the hands of the capable members of the Flying Giants. In fact, I will up the ante a bit. If I am voted as the loser I will refrain from posting anything on this site for a period of 6 months. Will you do the same???

I place my fate in the hands of the jury. May they have mercy on my Keyboard!!
