I saw different octane numbers. Does it matter? Which is the best with DA?

BME110 w/Pefa LL canisters:
First tests, 2 years ago:

Mejzlik 28-10 @ 7050-7100
Menz 28-10 @ 6500
Mejzlik 29-10 @ 6500
Menz 27-10 @ 7100
Mejzlik 26-10 @ 8100

never tried an actual "Tuned Pipe"

Currently, the same engine, after sitting for 9 months and about 250 hard flights on the engine:

Mejzlik 28-10 @ 6650 HOT

I think my baby needs to be cleaned up, decarbonized, and have a new set of rings. She's showing my neglect and her age.

BME 110, test by Keith with my 19-18 carbon GT80 race prop, 10,000 rpm on the ground..
GT80s on glow fuel turn this prop at 9000 on the ground, 11,500 in the air at 188 mph.....
Herbrandson 289, 21-27 carbon race prop, 9400 rpm in the air, 234 mph....
DA 150s turn around 10,000 rpm with race props, don't know what size
All with open exhaust, no pipes or cans, we LIKE noise

Drill out the fuel passages to allow 2X the flow and screw in a glow plug...Mix methanol with the same oil ratio that works for you with gas...We like to use about 6% oil and whatever nitro works well for racing, about 25%....
Or use the stock ignition, it works well with glow fuel..
