New DLE 30 with about 1/2 hour running time on a test stand....CORRECTLY TUNED, NOT 'FACTORY'
32-1 generic oil...87 octane pump gas..6800 ASL 65 degrees F..28 degrees BTDC.. Stock muffler...20-6 JC prop, 7600 rpm..18-8 JC prop, 8300 rpm.. Slimline Pitts, about 200 rpm less.. Mejzik 18-6 8900, same as a G26...A G26 won't turn the other props as fast as the DL 30...l

Funny Rich, very funny
Wow, 7800 with a Vess 22A..How can that be ? EVERYONE knows G62s in particular and Zenoahs in general are overweight underpowered boat anchors Except my 4 lb G62 lites ![]() How about a piped 62 turning a 22-8 at 8400 ???? Fast enough ? Think a Chinese wonder engine would survive doing that ???

My 62 on a pipe (if memory serves) will spin a 23A over 7700, and the B should be over 7500

RTK sounds right.
Here is the 62/pipe on Vess 23A at 7800 And 22A at 8400, same setup Any of you notice that Pe updated his prop calculator for Vess? ( http://www.mvvs.nl/ ) At 7800 and sea level it would be an approx 7.5 hp/44 lbs thrust, and at 8400 approx 7.8 hp!!! That is one strong boat anchor!!!

Engine Torch 90 on AMT 105 pipe. Royal Purple at 80-1.
We are at sea level and the air temp today is about 88 degrees. The engine was allowed to cool down and short warm up each time for consistent results. JC 27x8 two blade 7300 hot Mejlik 26x10 two blade 6900 hot JC 24x10x3N 6400 hot. Results checked by Cinderella giving the 1000 mile stare.
