More updates on my DA 100

DA 100 , K&S 1060 , Mej 28 x 10

Motul 800 @ 50:1

At Sea level

6660 RPM

This engine has been in solid use for 14 months doing IMAC and has burnt lots of fuel , 200 + flights

i would stay a 24 x 12 x 3 or a 25 x 12 x 3 depending on power, weight of the plane and were u r located if on can or pipe i would look at the 25 or 26" only

super ZDZ-80 RVJ on KS-95 canister, Biela 26x10, Penzoil 32:1, 5 gallons,

-6300-6400 RPM on the ground and 7620 RPM max in flight, no dive.

Since the first one blew a hole in the crankcase....here are some stats on the second one

1:32 Mineral Oil
26x10 Bolly Wood
5600 RPMīs.
98 Degrees
75% Humidity
5 Feet AGL....

Any comments please?

Those seem like low numbers for that engine. You might want to go to a lighter load prop and get the rpms in the 6200 to 6500 area Maybe a 25x10 bolly or 26x10 mezjlick im not really sure but i know a 25x10 will bring the numbers up and add some life to your engine.

Just curious, what is all tose engine rpm's mean? I think engine thrust would be lot more usable information.
For example if I have Menz 28x10 narow blade prop I will show higher RPM than Menz S 28x10 but the Menz S will produce lot more thrust. That is the information I would like to see.
