Just don't do full throttle blinders with the 110
I speak from experience lol

Diablokid,

Yes, I am running a C/F tube from Troy Built Models 1.5 x 36 x 46". I ran C/F gear for a while with a spinner to get it at 21.5 lbs. I have serial number 18 from DA and when they had a hub bearing issue I lost the gear and spinner from a motor lock up. Talk about the most solid inverted and upright harries at 40 degrees of elevator throw, this plane does that and then some. I have had my Cap since June of 07. Tuesday of this week I went to a 27 x 10TH wow that is a good prop for all my 3d/IMAC/Sport Flying needs....

Chadvoelkel it sounds like you had done this b-4 however it decided to let go this time.....

Hey Krazyc, I have an issue with my 232 33% H9, upon landing she won't decend, just keeps on floating and floating until she slows way too much and then bellies in. I recently went back to McConville recommended settings and moved the 3600 NiMH out of the tail and up near the wing tube. It wasn't tail heavy at the most rear CG even with the batt in the tail, but showed tail heavy at the most forward.

My buddy Robert has a CAP and it seems to float more than ours does. He's running a light motor (ZDZ 80 single) and the plane seems more tail heavy than ours. If you have a battery in the back end, it's probably your "floaty" culprit. Our batteries make a huge difference if you place them in front or just behind the former under the canopy. If they are behind it, the CAP just wants to float along on landing. If they are in front of the former, you can do short field landings all day long. I do land with the elevator dual rate set to low...... I flip to high rate for an air brake effect once the landing speed has reduced sufficiently. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Shaun
My last 33% airobatic airplane weighed in at 15 lbs. 8 ozs and was very stong in the 3D realm.

Airega1 I bring mine cap in with a click or 2 of throttle and it descends on down. I have had my battery as far back as the hatch. You can see the zip ties on that pic and that is the farthest back it has been and that was climbing on inverted runs. I now have the battery on the fuel tank. Mine is running the Da-85. Are you running any mixes on your radio if so we can see what it turns out compared to mine? I have also included a pic to show I balanced mine at 7 inches on the maiden. I have since moved it up further by flying and observing. I also added about a degree of up thrust and 1-1.5 of right thrust. I fly with 10 degrees of elevator throw and no expo on low rates. I only touch the elevator the last 20 feet or so of touching down and I do it to blew off the speed for a 3 point landing. More of watching me give the plane elevator and making sure its not climbing look. I also have an idle of 1400 on landing. I am running 3 servos in the tail (2 for the elevator, 1 for the rudder, 2 on the wings inboard hole a choke and throttle servo. My plane is trimmed for ½ to 5/8 throttle for across the flight line flying and ¾ to full on uplines very little pull to anything but straight up as long as my wings were level on the pull up.
Diablokid if you run the C/F tube this is how I mount my wings since you do not want to drill that tube for a bolt.

I maiden mine with a 26A vess then went to a 26B once it broke in. I like he 26 x 10 Mejzlik it has a sport car feel to the throttle on that prop a very good all around deal imac and 3d. I just swithced out to the 27 x 10 Th and its very nice on the DA-85 as i think it was designed for that motor low 6k for rpm but outstanding at everything and i mean everything.....

sensi i was so good in this hobby about 10 years ago i could get close to that weight wiht a 1/4 scale bird. me and exopy were very good friends especially on the wing joint with some fiberglassing lol.....
