Default RX Antenna Inside fuse?

Hey guys,

I was wondering whether it matters or not that the RX antenna is inside the fuse on say a 35% or 40% aircraft. I always like to leave the tip out on the back, but a few of my friends Daltons have the antenna on the inside. Is there a difference?

No real difference. I still like to keep the antanna away from power or servo wires. if you run steel pull pull cables then you will want to keep it away from those as well. I personally like to run horizontally until I get to the turtle deck and then do a 90 degree bend to vertical.

Just keep it away from electrical stuff and make the wire run as straight as possible and it will be all good. Thats how I do all my planes and have never had a problem. If you try and do it in a small model that dosen't have the length to run the antenna straight to the back, and have to make it loop forward and all over the place and stuff is where you'll run into range issues.
