There are so many different rail companies out there. I have used SGL shipping a lot in the past. I think the best way for you is to go to google and type in "Rail Shipping", "Rail shipping brokure". I am looking at the page now and there is a list of rail companies that could almost all help you. Also, it is always easy to call a rail brokure. Here is the page I am looking at know http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Rail+Shipping. I would think that you would be able to ship a 20 ft container cross county for probably around 1,000-1,500. Should even be cheaper then that. Let me know if this helps you. If you need more help I would be willing to make a couple calls to get you in the right direction. Just need a little more information. Send a PM if you need it.
Also, I didn't even pick up on the fact that you were moving to Fort Myers. We have a family house in Verandah County Club grounds off interstate 75 and highway 80. What part of Fory Myers are you moving to? I am down there about 4 times a year.

We have had the best luck with Fedex ground for shipping our 2.6 Extra and Fedex freight for the 3.0 Extra. I have talked to people that have used GreyHound with very good results and cheap.

Flying (commercial) to LA Friday AM, have two Pensky trucks reserved. ROADTRIP !!!!
My Dad and I bought all the parts and spares for Scottish Aviation Bulldogs that were part of the Sweedish Airforce inventory.

Here is one of our Bulldogs;

We will pack all the fragile/expensive stuff and have a common carrier pick up the heavy stuff,,

Thanks guys!

After being in Ft Myers for 2 years how does it compare to LA, are you ready to move back? How do you get along in the August Heat? How does living in Florida compare to living in California?
