Default How di I fix this?... Cowl vs Header

OK, I am building a 35% Extra 260. It is nearly done. I made a can tunnel and all is going well there. I HAVE to have 90mm drop headers to A-clear the motor box, and B- get proper alignment to the cans. 90mm are on, and work perfect with no cutting, bending, or mods needed. I went to put the cowl on it.... ruhh rooh Astro. The 90* bend in the header is going to hit the cowl pretty good. Flattening the tubes is not an option. The bends in the headers will have to stick out a good 3/4" os maybe a tick less. Is this normal? How can I not have header sticking out of the cowl bottom? I am not interested in spending huge money for customs though... I will live with the pipe showing. Thanks, Keith

Is that right? That makes me feel better. I guess all of these Yak's out here have the clearance... then you get into the Extras, where they are slim cowls, then you have to clearance... You got pics of that part sleepy? Also, have you started a scheme?
