Just wanted to get the ball rolling here! Atlanta in October is typically mid 70s and gorgeous. Daylight savings time will still be in effect so we shoud have daylight until 7 pm. The event will be at GMA (Georgia Model Aviators), my home field. We have an 800 foot ashpalt runway with 100 foot bermuda sod over run on each end as well as a 1000 foot bermuda sod runway. This is one of the premier flying sites in the southeast U.S.
We have all kinds of neat stuff planned including some awesome give aways and raffles. Most important there will be plenty of time for knockdown drag out down and dirty huckin'!
More details to come.
I hope all of you Giants will make the trip down south and join us for a great time!

I'm glad that it is this fall, I'm going to have to do a TON of honey-do's so that I can hopefully make the trip. Should be a killer time!!!!

Trust me, Crack-master, I would love to go to both!!!!!!!!! Fianances are the deciding factor!!!! Unless I can hitch a ride with someone heading to one of the 2 events. I will pay my way, along with helping with the fuel and hotel situation!!

Dates are October 26-28.
We are approximately 35 miles north of downtown Atlanta.
