The generation II has updated wings among other things. I had a generation I and after getting the new wings i never really had any problems. If you contact somenzini aircraft they could tell you exactly what the differences are.

Thanks for the replies, anything beside the landing gear? I am looking at a used one with a DA. What changes were made to the wings?

Thanks,

I'm sure Reza will pop in and tell you what you need to know. He's QQ's go to guy. Landing gear, wing, bevels and canopy changes. They both fly really well.

Hi There:

1. Landing Gear is wider and stiffer
2. Canopy has an anti-rotation pin restraint and fit is great
3. Rudder is a little stronger
4. Surface finish and covering are flawless
5. Bevels are sharp
6. Hinge slots are already cut and is ready for you to insert the hinges and glue them

Flying weight of a GenI would be 3/4-1 lb lighter than GenII. Both of my GenIIs with DA100 and stock muffler weigh 26 lbs 4 oz and 26 lbs My second GenII is lighter because I am using only one 8711 on rudder. I have plenty of pics on www.RCModelAviator.com

Please post any further questions on our support forum so I get a notification email. Often times I am not able to follow all the threads due to work. You are also more than welcome to email me any questions as well.

Regards,
Reza

As far as wing goes, we did replace the wings on GenIs so no worries! Actually we sent out modified Wing Sets to all who had purchased from us directly or our dealers.
