Default JR 10s ISSUES!!!!

Greetings, Need some expertise and advice on an issue that is stumping me. have a JR 10s heli version and I am in the process of setting up a 35% Aeroworks. What would be the best way to go on a reciever for her, also could someone please explain to me the difference between single and dual conversion. Here's the problem with the 10s, when I run all components independently on each channel, hitting the throttle gimble causes the right aileron to go down. They're not slaved but are close together on the reciever. Would appreciate some input on this and recommendations on a good JR reciever.

Regards, Keith tullsons3@aol.com

Are you positive that there is not a mix activated? It was a fairly common to mix elev and ail functions to throttle or collective on a heli that did not have CCMP. If you cant find an active mix go ahead and activate one so you can mix this out. I doubt you have an issue with the RX.

The JR PCM 10 series are dedicated to either airplane or heli. What channel do you you have the right aileron in? Channel 6 I bet, which is the collective channel on the heli radio. If you want to use the heli radio you will need to use something other than ch 6 and then set up a mix to make it work.
The single & dual conversion has to do with how many IF (intermediate frequency) sections the receiver uses. Dual conversion will provide a cleaner signal. I have always used the single conversion receivers (JR 649 & 955).

I own (well, till a few days ago) the 10X, and was once asked by someone to help them out on setting up a jet on the 10S heli version. Its a pain coz it appeared that you cant reassign certain channels like channel 6 for example. Another I remember vaguely was the gyro rate I think?? or gain?? Since I dont fly heli's I can't recall that with clarity, but I suggest you use the servo monitor to check and make sure there are no other channels that are linked permanently. If your not using too many channels up it should be a clean setup even though its a heli radio. Good luck dude

P.S. Although it was a pain, the person in question did manage to fly his jet with the 10S so your definitely good to go once you get done

Did you get it figured out? If not I would be glad to help you. As stated above, it can be done, it just takes using some mixes and stay away from ch 6 (unless your running smoke, then use it to drive your pump speed!)
