Paffy, I think some Rx's might have been missing in that data.

Thanks Brutus!
Hopefully they will also have a closer date than "Early Summer" I want to place an order now! It seems that the Team Orange has a more robust system (according to specs) than Team Red Magoo ![]() |

Maybe a dumb question, but will the 6ch RX work with the 8ch module?
On the module, one can just switch between 7 or 8 channels, either general or france... Thanks, Julez |

Oh, and in case people have not seen it, here is a photo of the 14MZ/12Z module installed in a TX. http://www.teambob00.com/

Judge--Do you know if Futaba will come out with a 14mz that will be 2.4 (with out the module)?

You will be able to buy a 14MZ with the 2.4 module, but I don't think you'll see a dedicated 14MZ system. Is the 6 channel system dedicated or does it have a module?
I think there is a patent on the 2.4 technology that does not allow anyone else to come out with dedicated systems. They can only produce modules for 2.4, and not 2.4 dedicated tx's. Jim |

The 6EX is a dedicated 2.4 system, no module. |

Well then, so much for that theory. I have heard of a patent though that limits what a manufacturer can do regarding 2.4GHz.

I could not resist yesterday and asked the same question to the German importer of Futaba. They answered, that all RXes (7/8/14ch), except the 6ch will work with the module. I find this a little diappointing...Not every Parkflyer Pilot will be thrilled with the idea of having to cram a 7ch RX at least in his plane Cheers, Julez |

Is that a German only thing? I was told the 6 channel could be used with the modules here in the US, and the 6 channel RX is nice and small, perfect for the electric planes.
